In 2005, the Heungkong Group established Heungkong Wanji Aluminum Co., Ltd. in Luoyang, a large aluminum oxide smelting enterprise with internationally-advanced technology, process, and modern management. It is the first privately run enterprise approved by the National Development and Reform Commission to integrate bauxite mining, aluminum oxide production, and supporting facilities. 
   Currently, Heungkong Aluminum’s annual production comprises 2 million tons of aluminum oxide and nearly 3 million tons of rare earth resources, totaling up to 5 million tons of output. Heungkong Aluminum has promoted the orderly economic development of the region and played a significant role in fostering local economic construction.
